Whew…

I finally finished a two-page spread in the activity book. That page had been open on my laptop for the past week and a half. I would glance at it every now and then and say to myself, “I really need to finish that so I can move on.”

I kept procrastinating and procrastinating, but it’s finally done. Next up, a connect the dots and a maze, both to do with ants. I’ll probably finish at least one of them by tomorrow.

“Couldn’t he do that somewhere else?” Jeanna was more and more cross with Roger these days.  “I mean, he’s just staring right at people and drawing them.”

“Well, when inspiration strikes…” Bennie was always defending Roger because he was an artist himself.

“He’s not even hiding that he’s drawing them.”

“Wouldn’t it be creepy and stalker-like if he were drawing them secretly?”

Bennie had a point, and Jeanna hated that he had a point.  Frustrated and unable to defend own point of view any further, she let out a voiced sigh and stomped off to the nearest coffee shop.

“I don’t think that more caffeine is going to calm you down,” Bennie shouted after her.
