My set went well tonight. This was a really good first open mic to get back into doing stand-up. The crowd was really supportive of all of the performers. I was the only one doing stand-up. Most of the rest were acoustic performers, half of which wore flannel and a beanie and had some form of facial hair. I guess I didn’t get the memo.

I realize, though, that I have to be prepared to be eaten alive tomorrow when doing the stand-up only open mic.

I didn’t record my performance because it’s still a work in progress, and you can’t enjoy jokes over and over the same way you can enjoy music. I’ve got to keep my stuff relegated to just the live shows for now.

I’ll keep you guys updated on the whens and wheres of my stand-up stuff.
