…is a ridiculously good film. I’ve never seen it before tonight, and I loved it.

I’ve been making my way through Terry Gilliam’s full-length feature directorial work (11 films in all), and of all the ones I’ve watched (all but Jabberwocky, which is coming up in my Netflix queue), I think The Fisher King is his best. It’s the most relatable thing he’s done while still retaining his trademark elements of the fantastical.
