The 1996 Doctor Who film is terribly cheesy, though I liked Paul McGann as The Doctor. Everyone else’s performances were a bit amateurish, which is a shame. The writing and camera work weren’t great either, and there was a lot of speeding up of film throughout, as though they shot too much and, rather than edit bits out, sped up most of the stuff that wasn’t dialogue.
It isn’t essential viewing but pleasant enough. Don’t go out of your way to see it.
