Rocky Top Playhouse: Happy New Year's Eve and... →
rockytopplayhouse: As 2012 swiftly barrels its way to our front doors, we’re reminded of the fantastic year we’ve had here at Rocky Top Playhouse. From our very first show on April 21st to now, we’ve changed and grown in so many different ways. This budding new theatre has become a well-oiled machine whose job is to… This’ll be my final show at Rocky Top Playhouse. I might return...

Darn you, Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited!
I was given the early Christmas gift of a subscription to Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited. I’ve been reading loads of comics today. Comic books haven’t been in my budget for a long while, and man have I missed them! I read 16 comics this evening. There are over 10,000 currently available to read through MDCU. When will I find the time to do…life?

latenightjimmy: The incredible Louis C.K. stopped by last night to tell Jimmy what he’s doing with the money (you know, one million dollars) (!!!) that he made from his latest special, and it is just everything good: Funny, awesome, heartwarming, all of that. Watch it! And catch part 2 here, where he gets into the charities he chose. Fantastic.

What do you think about this?
I just watched a few videos having to do with dubstep, and I think my best description of that style of music might be “a knife made of crystallized dirt”. [NOTE: I’m not just now discovering dubstep. It’s just that this description has just now come to mind.]

gunsandrobots: Last night’s SNL was the best it has been in years. If they could somehow bottle that and do it every week, they would be back in the glory days. Plus, they made my holiday season by bringing back one of my favorite moments in the show’s history. So, now a new season’s greeting from Saturday night live…. Awesome sauce.

I need to learn how to play the harmonica,
so that when I’m finally a guest on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” I can pretend like it’s my first time playing and then show off.

Currently watching Spartacus.
The amount of money they poured into these older movies is astounding. The shear number of extras is amazing. p.s. I’m hours into this film, and I just now read that Stanley Kubrick directed it. This is different than anything else I’ve seen of his.

I just spent the past few hours playing Ultima IV,
a game that was released way back in 1985. I love old games. The amount of imagination required to play them was enormous. You can currently get the game for free from GOG.com. Oddly enough, nowhere in any of the documentation given does it tell you what the controls are. I did a quick search online and found this helpful website.

Thanks, KnowYourMeme! →
I saw an inordinate amount of comments on YouTube with the punchline “…then I took an arrow in the knee”. I had no idea what was going on. So, like any websavvy fella, I Googled it. The first search result? Know Your Meme! They learned me good! I used to be ignorant about taking an arrow in the knee. Then, I took an arrow in the knee.

“Wainy Days: Season 5, Episode #33 - Kelly and Arielle - Part 1” - MyDamnChannel It’s back, guys! One of the funniest shows on the internet and the reason I found MyDamnChannel, “Wainy Days” is comedy gold. If you enjoy the absurdist humor of Wet Hot American Summer or “Stella”, you’re really going to dig this show.
